Sign of the Times?

Caffe Nero used to stock free copies of the day's newspapers for its
customers.
No longer.
From this morning they sell copies of the Times at the till.

Sorry for any confusion. We are still providing free-to-read newspapers in addition to giving customers the opportunity to buy The Times. Please let me know which store you use and I'll put them right.

@Jonathan Hart

I'm really pleased to hear that - I love the "Coffee House" atmosphere of most CN branches, and it is now the only chain coffee shop I still use.

To be fair, when I went into the CN at the corner of Lancaster Place and Strand this morning, I just didn't see any of the free newspapers on the counter, where they normally sit. Combined with the new display and the cards on every table, I jumped to the (not unnatural) conclusion that the free newspapers were a goner.

I'll be glad to see them back.

and @John

Why yes, I should be writing. Not reading papers - or blogging for that matter. But I take my procrastination opportunities seriously! :)

Hi Tanya,

Just wanted to let you know that I think my emails are going to your spam folder. I sent you a reply this morning after receiving yours. I have sent two previously thanking you for the discs and updating you on what I have been watching but you obviously haven't received them. Check you spam/junk folder in case they are lurking there.
